Born in Wales many moons ago, I lived and worked extensively in many African countries for over 30 years.

Returning with my family to the UK in 2003, I picked up a brush again and rediscovered the Joy (and Agony) of painting.

 

I am currently living in Hampshire but inspiration for my art comes mainly from my travels within the UK (especially my visits back to South & North Wales).

 

A self-taught artist, I am Influenced by the Impressionists with their beautifully harmonious colours and (conversely) by the raw, guttural energy of the Expressionists. I am constantly trying to push my own artistic boundaries.
